One of the biggest epiphanies in my game was beginning to constantly attack. However, the ability to do this is predicated on being defensively sound, otherwise you risk shooting yourself in the foot and ending up in a worse position. The real goal is that whether you're on offense or defense, your opponent should not be comfortable. Pressure can be applied to all positions and if you are applying pressure then pressure is not being applied to you. Although it is cliche it is also true, the best defense is a good offense. Let me know how you are applying this in your training this week.
