Chuva Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is run by Soul Fighters Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt Mark Christian. Professor Christian trained from white to brown belt under Pedro Sauer black belts Richard Bueno, Brian Ogule, and Dusty Alexander before transitioning to train under Sal Flores and Augusto “Tanquinho” Mendes at Pallaton BJJ. After receiving his black belt in 2017, Professor Christian moved to New York for a job teaching Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and was able to spend time learning from John Danaher and other members of the Bronx Martial Arts team. Now Chuva Brazilian Jiu Jitsu brings that unique knowledge to the Triangle.
The goal of Chuva Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is to allow you to believe you can accomplish difficult things, you can make it out of difficult circumstances, and you have community. This is an environment of challenges and struggle; you will be held to a high standard. We care about the quality of people and the quality of grappling that exit our facility and look forward to helping you test your potential. Group & Private Instruction in:
