This is not overall nutrition advice, it’s simply rectifying a recurring issue. When you come to practice give yourself a few hours to digest beforehand. You can maybe get away with eating shortly before if you’re young, but it will affect your performance, and you might throw up. Also, eat normal things that you would eat before strenuous exercise. Maybe Usain Bolt can eat a bunch of chicken nuggets before going out to compete, but the likelihood that you can eat Bojangles and Lucky Charms right before your first practice and keep it together is low. When you walk into our room expect that it will be difficult, expect it will be strenuous and plan accordingly.
