I simply facilitate practice, my goal is no longer to pigeonhole you into thinking about or doing Jiu Jitsu the way I do. That means that you are the driving force behind your success. So you should make every practice count. If I’m having you learn a task, there’s probably a reason. That’s where you can focus your attention. What’s the reason for this task, what is the task, how can I organize myself to accomplish the task? Then your intention will be accomplishing the task for whatever side of the game you are on. If you can shift your brain from there being one right way to do something to I know the end result I need, I will get there, it will weirdly make you more successful. Focus on the end goal and do what you need to so that’s what you accomplish.
