It may be hard to believe, but I have mellowed out. Blue belt Mark used to club people in the back of the head and then guillotine them or one time I power cleaned my friend off the ground while holding a kimura. I roll much nicer with people than I used to and that trend will probably continue as I get older. As bad as you believe you have it now, training with me is not as bad as it used to be. It also contributes to why I haven’t competed in a long time. Competition is selfish and the majority of people will really struggle if I begin competition training again. The balance of being nice to people so they progress and beating them up to progress is not always easy because everyone’s different, but just know that it’s not malicious.
