Nobody cares if I’m in the gym. It’s my job, of course I’m going to be there. What people care about is if you’re in the gym. I can be as nice as possible to people when I’m training and it still sucks for them. People want to see other people struggling alongside them, or with them. Showing up to the gym is about showing up for each other and showing up for yourselves, not showing up for me. It’s like a snowball, it may be you and me often, just like it was Sal and I often, but then it builds because you’re consistently adding and the momentum grows. I promise you it’s as simple as if you want more training partners, be there for your training partners.
