Act

​Theory is great, but it’s basically useless if you don’t know what you’re doing. I can explain all the reasons why Jiu Jitsu works the way it does, but it won’t matter unless you can actually execute. In order to execute, you need to act. Being passive, is always going to make your life difficult. You can either choose to be offensively or defensively active, but at no point should you be disengaged. To defend yourself, you must act, to do combat sports, you must act. Stop being casual about getting beat up.
